Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ seeks an entry‑level Demand & Supply Planner to support regional finished goods planning, manage inventory, and participate in regional S&OP meetings.

You will execute standard work to manage exceptions using Kinaxis Rapid Respond and collaborate across Manufacturing, Quality, Distribution, Marketing and Finance. Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related field is required by hire.

Qualifications

• Proficient MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Supply Chain / Logistics, Pharmacy, Engineering / Biotechnology, Material Science, or related field by hire.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard work to manage exceptions/escalations through Kinaxis Rapid Respond e and SCEM.
• Communicate with Demand Planning regarding regional FG allocations.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage replenishment and post-release activities to ensure OTIF.
• Expedite deliveries to meet demand and escalate risks.
• Facilitate regional meetings (Tier 2–4).
• Drive SLA with Markets and monitor FG inventory.
