Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Junior Supply Chain Manager for a growing CPG company in Chicago. You will support end-to-end supply chain operations, from raw materials through production to customer fulfillment, working closely with suppliers, co-manufacturers, and 3PLs.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, strong data handling, and collaboration across functions to improve forecast accuracy and inventory efficiency. On-site, permanent position with room for growth.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in supply chain, purchasing, inventory or planning.
• Experience with co-manufacturers, 3PLs and suppliers.
• Understanding of inventory management, forecasting, logistics.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets and data handling.
• ERP or supply chain planning systems preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end supply chain from procurement to fulfillment.
• Manage and track purchase orders, supplier confirmations, production schedules, inbound shipments.
• Assist demand forecasting and inventory planning to minimize stockouts.
• Monitor inventory across warehouses and 3PLs; identify shortages/overstock.
• Coordinate with co-manufacturers and suppliers on production schedules.
• Collaborate with Procurement on material availability and lead times.
• Work with 3PLs to troubleshoot fulfillment and shipping issues.
• Help manage inventory allocation across channels (DTC, wholesale, retail).
• Support new product launches with inventory requirements and timelines.
• Maintain supply chain data and KPIs; build reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Ops, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product Dev.
• Resolve supply disruptions and delays.
