Qualifications

• Master's degree in structural or civil engineering or related field.
• Solid foundation in structural engineering principles with interest in investigation, rehabilitation, construction, and design.
• Relevant internship and/or research experience.
• Effective technical, graphical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive team player willing to take on responsibilities and work independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on forensic investigations, condition assessments, and construction observations.
• Conduct field testing and data collection using instrumentation and imaging tools.
• Analyze data and study modern and historic construction documents, codes, and design guidelines.
• Complete analysis using advanced software and calculations.
• Assist with drafting conceptual, preliminary, and final client deliverables including drawings, specifications, reports, and presentations.
• Interface with project teams, clients, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Assume responsibility for key aspects of projects under licensed professionals.
