You will contribute to forensic investigations, condition assessments, and construction observations under licensed supervision, gaining exposure to historic and modern structures. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive approach, with internship or research experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in structural or civil engineering or related field.
• Solid foundation in structural engineering with interest in investigation, rehabilitation, construction, and design of structures.
• Relevant internship and/or research experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive team player who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on forensic investigations, condition assessments, and construction observations.
• Conduct field testing and data collection using diverse technologies.
• Analyze data and review codes and design guidelines to inform analysis and repair design.
• Complete analysis using advanced software and calculations.
• Assist with drafting client deliverables, drawings, reports, and presentations.
• Interface with project teams, clients, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Take responsibility for key aspects of projects with limited oversight.
