Job summary

The Osborn Engineering Company is seeking an entry level structural engineer for our Columbus and/or Cincinnati, OH offices. The role reports to the Manager of Structural Engineering and emphasizes familiarity with structural concepts and a curiosity to learn and grow in the field.

Responsibilities include design, detailing, CAD/Revit support, and collaboration with senior staff to advance project goals while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction. Background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, EIT registration, or desire to register as EIT, with goal to become PE.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with multi-discipline team with senior engineer supervision.

Responsibilities

• Engineering solutions for projects.
• Design and detailing of structure including calculations and computer modeling with senior engineer supervision.
• Provide support in drawing production using CAD/Revit.
• Provide support in construction administration phase of projects by reviewing shop drawings.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline team on projects.
