• Review vendor drawings and equipment loads for integration into structural designs.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Maintain project documentation and engineering quality standards.

Overview

Selectek is seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer to support the design and analysis of electric utility substation structures and foundations.The role involves performing structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures for transmission and distribution substations using STAAD.Pro and other engineering software. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and project managers to develop safe, reliable, and cost‑effective structural solutions for utility clients.

Hours and shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30PM – 4:30PM (flexible if needed)
Pay range: $28‑$33.65 per hour
Contract: 6‑month assignment, direct hire
