Job summary

Schuff Steel is seeking a Junior Drawing Reviewer to ensure shop and erection drawings meet standards before fabrication or field use. You will verify dimensions, part marks, and welding information under the Drawing Quality Manager.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings for clarity, communicating discrepancies to the detailing team, and following established procedures while supporting continuous improvement. Office visits to the plant may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading shop and erection drawings.
• Two years in coordination of structural steel projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings and erection drawings for clarity, completeness, and adherence to internal quality standards.
• Verify that drawings contain all required dimensions and information for fabrication and erection.
• Ensure part marks, labels, and welding symbols are correctly represented and referenced.
• Follow drawing review procedures and provide feedback to improve quality.
