Bristol Steel in the Greater Flint Area is seeking a motivated Entry Level Structural Designer to support our engineering team. As an entry level designer, you will assist in the design and analysis of structural components for various construction projects, working under supervision of senior engineers and designers to ensure safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CAD software (Solidworks, SDS2, AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to integrate structural designs with overall project plans.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including calculations, reports, and specifications.
• Maintain filing systems and update records.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
