The MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is seeking a Structural Engineer responsible for the design and analysis of key components for F1 racing. The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Nine years later, the team continues to demonstrate growth and a clear direction with its future objectives – coming off the back of its second-best season to date in Formula 1.

We have three HQs – Kannapolis in the US, Banbury in the UK, and Maranello in Italy – each powered by passionate, loyal, and hardworking team ambassadors. This position reports to the Structural Team Leader or their designee; is located in Maranello, Italy. Responsible for the structural design and analysis of the components related to the F1 frame.
GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required. Further education including Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive or any other relevant engineering Degree desired. Internship or equivalent experience in a structures group performing components analysis or experience in Formula Student or equivalent projects.
HyperWorks, Hypermesh, Optistruct, Abaqus, Laminate tools or similar, CAD System: Catia V6 (basic functions), Excel, Matlab, Python.
Ability to work under high pressure and prioritize tasks, occasional travel, and long hours including weekends. May require lifting up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, and working around machinery, race cars, rigs, debris, and fluids. Compliance with health and safety policies is mandatory.
