Job summary

A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) seeks an Entry Level Structural / Bridge Engineer to join the Structural Engineering team in our Mechanicsburg, PA office.

The position starts in May 2027 after graduation and offers exposure to design, inspection, and plan development on a variety of bridge projects. The candidate will assist with inspections, calculations, CAD support, and coordination across disciplines, gaining hands-on experience in traditional and alternative project delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• EIT preferred or within 6 months of hire.
• Willingness to perform hands-on bridge condition inspection and learn design software.

Responsibilities

• Support structural and bridge design and analysis tasks.
• Assist with plan development and CAD support.
• Coordinate with staff and clients in project meetings.
