Description
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers accurately and on time, meeting company procedure and standard
- Receive payments and apply to the correct customer accounts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date AR records
- Reconcile customer accounts and AR ledgers with the general ledger and bank statements
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments and resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare reports, including ageing reports, collection forecast, credit issuance, etc.
- Assist with preparing and filing monthly sales tax return
- Assist with Bank reconciliations in M1(ERP) - daily
- Support Accounts Payable functions as needed
- Prepare month-end closing entries and documentation
- Participate in training, upskilling, certification and other educational programs
- Maintain awareness of potential fraud and follow company protocols to prevent financial or data breaches
- Adhere to Earnest Products Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements
- Perform other accounting, office, and administrative duties assigned by Controller
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business or other degrees and equivalent experience
- Prior experience working in accounting or relevant role using accounting/ERP system
- Recent graduates without experience are encouraged to apply; transcripts will be required
- Any relevant certifications are a plus, including Notary Public
