Job summary

Urban Plates is seeking a Jr. Sous in the Operations team at the restaurant location. This entry-level leadership development role supports the management team to ensure high food quality and guest satisfaction.

You will assist with opening/closing, expediting, and take-out orders, while maintaining sanitation and organization across kitchen areas to uphold Urban Plates' standards and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years in food service or hospitality preferred; at least 21 years old.
• Language: English fluency required; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist management to ensure food quality and guest presentation.
• Assist in opening/closing kitchen, expediting, and take-out orders.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas.
• Use POS system to enter orders and process sales.
