Junior Sous Chef - Boone's Restaurant and Bar at Bobby Jones Golf Course

Join us as a Junior Sous Chef at Boone's Restaurant and Bar, located at Bobby Jones Golf Course. Operated by Bobby Jones Links, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a unique dining experience in Buckhead, overlooking the golf course.

Boone’s provides high-quality service and cuisine in a relaxed, neighborhood atmosphere, featuring remarkable cocktails, craft beers, and a distinctive wine list. Named after Boone Knox, the restaurant is part of the nonprofit Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation's mission to make a difference through golf.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Assist with inventory counts and understand cost of goods sold.
  2. Collaborate on menu planning with the Executive Chef.
  3. Develop standards for food taste and presentation consistency.
  4. Ensure staff are knowledgeable about ingredients, preparation, and taste of menu items.
  5. Work with the front-of-house team to ensure quality and efficiency.
  6. Assist in ordering food and beverages accurately based on inventory and menu needs.
  7. Help develop sales and promotional strategies for food and beverage.
  8. Follow safe work practices and food handling standards.
Required Skills
  1. Safe Food Handling Certification.
  2. Personal knife kit.
  3. Proficiency in culinary terminology and core techniques.
  4. Ability to execute braises, fabrications, and basic baking independently.
  5. Confidence to operate at every station.
  6. Ability to follow and write recipes precisely.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

Employees must be able to walk, stand, bend, and handle objects, lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally, and work in warm, loud indoor conditions near grills and fryers.
