Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Software Systems Engineer to join the B-1B Software team at Tinker AFB, OK. The role supports the USAF with software lifecycle activities focused on controls, displays, weapons delivery, navigation, and communications.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining software systems, translating requirements to software models, conducting analyses and reviews, and developing end-user documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).
• 1+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test).
• 1+ years of experience software development.
• General experience working in an Agile software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains software systems that meet quality, safety, security and certification standards.
• Translates system-level requirements into software requirements and models with clear traceability to design, code and test artifacts.
• Performs software system-level analyses to identify risks and issues; deploys mitigation actions throughout the lifecycle.
• Performs code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards.
• Monitors and reviews test completion, verification processes, and issue resolution for software systems.
• Develops user documentation and training for end users; tracks performance with project plans and standards.
• Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development.
• Performs software project management and software supplier management activities.
