Job summary

AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester-Junior to support Battlespace Modeling & Simulation. The salary range of this position is $74,600.00 – $92,600.00 and is commensurate with experience.

This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required at Patuxent River, MD. A typical day includes running simulation stations, testing Jira issues, documenting results, and collaborating with NGTS software developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or Computer Science or HS Diploma with 3 years of experience.
• Degree recognized by US DoE.
• Experience understanding requirements and compiling data.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in small group settings and learn multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Supports running simulation stations for testing, training and demonstrations.
• Operates and tests SIM/NGTS/DIADS stations after training.
• Tests Jira issues including new features and bug fixes.
• Documents test results and issues in Jira.
• Collaborates with NGTS developers and subject matter experts.
• Creates new test procedure documents to validate requirements.
• Communicates access across teams to verify procedures.
• Runs extensive regression tests during RC phases.
