Job summary

Leidos Defense Sensors' Uncrewed Systems Integration and Test organization is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join the S3I JSIL Technology and Certification Center. You will contribute to software design, development, testing, and integration for UAS-related systems in Huntsville, AL.

• BS in computer science or related technical field with 2–4 years of experience, or MS with 1–2 years of experience.
• Experience with object-oriented programming in Java, C++, and C#.
• Experience using Gitlab CI/CD and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Comfort with UNIX-like environments and Windows command line.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize software solutions for large-scale systems.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, APIs, and diagrams.
