Job summary

Arcfield seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Software Engineer to support a Navy DoD customer in designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale, high-performance software systems at our Colorado Springs, CO office.

We deliver results using COTS and in-house software, with a semi-Agile environment. You will contribute to architecture, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, ensuring scalable, robust solutions for mission objectives.

Qualifications

• BS Degree with 2-4 years of experience or MS with 0-2 years in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Modern Fortran).
• Knowledge of database systems (MySQL, SQLite).
• Experience with software modernization techniques and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Ability to design efficient algorithms, data structures, and performance-optimized code.
• Experience in a collaborative semi-Agile or Agile development environment.
