Job summary

Decision Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Junior Software Engineer (SEG1) to support a Navy contract at the Washington Navy Yard.

You will join a 200-person contractor team, collaborating with program management, acquisition, logistics, and security to deliver software solutions and updates. A Secret Clearance is required, and on-site work is expected up to 5 days a week in Washington, DC, with telework possible with customer approval as relationships evolve.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or computer science.
• 0-3 years experience working with software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using sound CS/engineering principles.
• Update or enhance existing software capabilities.
• Collaborate with project management, logistics, security, and other disciplines to integrate hardware and software systems and meet performance requirements.
• Maintain databases within the application area.
