You will work on C/Linux, socket programming, and networking fundamentals in a multi-process/thread environment. Collaboration and timely delivery are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong C/Linux experience is essential.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, switching and routing.
• Familiarity with socket programming.
• Familiarity with ARM and x86 architectures in a multi-process/thread environment.
• Knowledge of QA procedures and software development fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Shell and Python scripting.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop and maintain software features on current and future Fortinet products.
• Responsible for the development of switch-controller features of FortiGate/FortiSwitch.
• Bug fixing for current products.
• Implement high-quality software features on schedule.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
