Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Junior Software Engineer to support AFNWC/NCC at Offutt AFB, NE. This full-time role offers hands-on software development in an agile team environment with exposure to DoD systems and security requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing documents, designing solutions, coding, testing, SQA, and collaborating with government leads to deliver reliable software. A TS/SCI eligible clearance and NC2/ESI eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen.
• Clearance: TS w/SCI eligibility, NC2/ESI eligibility, ACCM eligibility.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years relevant; DoD experience 5+ years; IT/software development expertise.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and analyze documentation (planning, requirements, design, support, testing); include source code and configuration files.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, requirements, and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions with documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments.
