Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document software applications and enhancements under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Develop software solutions that meet customer requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile development team to deliver reliable and scalable software products.
• Contribute to product enhancements, new feature development, proof‑of‑concepts, and customer demonstrations.
• Troubleshoot software defects and assist in identifying and implementing corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0-2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Working knowledge of C++ programming and object‑oriented design principles.
• Experience using source control systems such as SVN (Subversion).
• Familiarity with software development and project tracking tools such as Jira.
• Understanding of software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing software on Windows, Linux, macOS, and/or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio or similar integrated development environments (IDEs).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of software architecture, networking concepts, or real‑time systems.
• Experience leveraging AI‑assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to improve productivity and code quality.
