Job summary

EarthCam is seeking a motivated and curious Junior Full Stack Developer to join our in-house development team. This role supports the design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications and provides hands-on experience across both front-end and back-end technologies.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code while collaborating closely with engineers, product, and UX teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Understanding of both front-end and back-end development concepts.
• Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript preferred.
• Familiarity with Git; Jira and Confluence experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full web app development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Develop front-end and back-end features to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with UX and cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered designs.

• Develop high‑quality code following established development standards and processes
• Build and maintain front‑end and back‑end features to support business requirements
• Collaborate with UX and cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless, user‑centered designs
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and best practices
• Assess technical feasibility of proposed functional designs
• Maintain and enhance existing applications and codebases
• Communicate task progress, technical challenges, and solutions clearly
• Stay current with emerging web and software development technologies
