**Junior Software Developer**

Job Category: Information Technology

**Location:** Springfield, VA

Responsibilities:

1. Lead portions of projects and oversee specific project implementation teams.
2. Interpret system requirements and perform low to medium complexity development, maintenance, and improvement tasks.
3. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Scrum, Sprint Planning, Review/Demo, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospective.
4. Create, maintain, and deliver contract artifacts (CDRLs 001-017).
5. Develop customized web applications using front-end frameworks like JavaScript, React, and Angular.
6. Develop back-end infrastructure and web applications in Java or Python.
7. Manage PostgreSQL database development, integration, and maintenance.
8. Configure and maintain SOLR or Elastic File Search.
9. Create and manage AWS S3 buckets for web application support.
10. Use containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
11. Manage and deploy applications via GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

Required:

1. Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience or Master's degree with 1+ year of experience.
2. Experience in information systems implementation, change management, or business process redesign.
3. Experience in systems engineering, database engineering, and management.
4. Experience with OpenShift, DevOps, and Alfresco.
5. Proficiency with Node.js, React, Java, Python, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, AWS/C2S, ODS S3, PostgreSQL/MySQL.
6. Ability to architect, implement, and manage IT systems.
7. Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
8. Ability to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days.
