CCI is seeking a Junior Software Developer in the Springfield, VA area.

Requirements

Responsible for leading portions of projects and may oversee specific project implementation teams; for interpreting system requirements, performing low to medium complexity development, maintenance, sustainment, and improvement tasks including but not limited to:

  • The Junior-Level Software Engineer is responsible for outcomes from RDT&E in various ceremonies and events (e.g., Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review/Demo, Backlog Grooming, Retrospective, etc.) (CDRL 004), and supports the creation, maintenance, quality, and timely delivery of all Contract Deliverables (i.e., CDRL's 001 - 017).
  • Customized web application development utilizing front-end frameworks such as JavaScript React & Angular.
  • Developing back-end infrastructure and web applications with Java or Python.
  • PostgreSQL database/index development, integration, and maintenance.
  • SOLR or Elastic File Search installation, configuration, and indexing.
  • Creating, maintaining, and configuring AWS S3 buckets in support of web-application development.
  • Containerization experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Managing and deploying applications through GitLab CI/CD.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience.
  • At least 3 years (1 year with a Master's degree) of IT experience, including systems implementation, change management, or business process redesign, possibly with security clearance.
  • Experience with information systems engineering, support, database engineering, and management.
  • Experience with OpenShift, DevOps, Alfresco, Node.js, React, Java, Python, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, AWS/C2S, ODS S3 buckets, PostgreSQL/MySQL.
  • Experience in architecting, implementing, and managing IT systems.
  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days.

Pay Range

The salary is influenced by various factors including location, experience, skills, education, and certifications. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and learning opportunities. Our benefits include healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, education, and time off. The proposed salary range for this position is $57,500-$117,900.
