Job summary

Noblis is seeking a Software Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph to support national security initiatives. You will design and deliver applications with a team of developers, data scientists, and SMEs, contributing across the full software lifecycle.

You will work with federal clients to architect and implement modern solutions, ensure performance and security, and communicate progress to stakeholders in an Agile setting. Remote/hybrid status may vary with requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience or higher degrees with relevant experience.
  • Full-stack development experience using Python and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking to hire a Software Developer with an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph to support mission-critical national security initiatives.


As a Software Developer on our team, you will collaborate with federal clients to rapidly design and deliver innovative solutions that address their most pressing mission challenges. You will work with a team of other developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts (SMEs, and to design and develop new applications and integrate new solutions on existing applications.


In this role, you will analyze client challenges and develop effective technical solutions by evaluating and applying modern tools, technologies, and best practices. You will design and build a variety of applications while contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including programming, debugging, testing, and deployment.


Success in this position requires strong collaboration and communication skills. You will work closely with your teammates, technical leads, and clients to provide regular project updates, discuss technical approaches, and ensure solutions meet mission objectives.


Job Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications


  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with a current Polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related experience; OR Master's degree with 1 years of related experience; OR associate’s degree with 6 years of related experience; OR High School diploma/GED with 9 years of related

  • Full-stack software development experience using Python and JavaScript

  • Experience with one or more database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB)

  • Understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance best practices

  • Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern software development methodologies

  • Proficiency with Git version control and pull request workflows

  • U.S. Citizenship is required


Desired Qualifications


  • Ability to manage and support multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Experience developing and deploying applications in cloud environments.

  • Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.

  • Ability to learn new technologies and contribute across multiple layers of the software stack.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

  • Proficiency in Python3

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.


Posted Salary Range

USD $90,700.00 - USD $141,775.00 /Yr.
