Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, or four years of progressively technical hands-on experience, or an appropriate combination of education and experience demonstrating knowledge and skills equivalent to those listed above. Relevant experience demonstrating the acquisition of necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities is preferred.
General to working knowledge and experience in programming applications and writing scripts/job control statements. Familiarity with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL concepts and relational database principles. Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Knowledge of additional technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shell Scripting is a plus. Experience with Application Server and middleware is also desirable.
Ability to quickly learn MCCS policies related to the Software Development Lifecycle, including procedures, approvals, and documentation. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with mature judgment.
As an authorized user of Department of Defense Information Systems, must obtain or already possess Security+ Certification within six months of employment, and complete annual Information Assurance awareness training thereafter.
