Job summary
Trideum Corporation is seeking a Junior Software Developer to contribute to front-end and back-end development for high-visibility projects in the Space and Missile Defense domain. You will work on MOSA-aligned systems under senior engineers, participate in design reviews, and support secure, scalable software across the stack.
On-site at Huntsville, AL, with opportunities for rapid skill growth, collaboration across disciplines, and occasional travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Foundational MOSA principles and modular/component-based architectures.
- Experience building modern front-ends and integrating with back-end services.
- Proficiency with Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience building back-end services using Java, C#, C++, Python, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, micro-services, and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Understanding of security, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork.
- US citizenship and ability to obtain a US Government Secret clearance.
Responsibilities

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer with expertise in both front-end and back-end development for a high-visibility effort in next-generation technologies in the Space and Missile Defense domain. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about creating the next generation of products and services.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys participating in solving complex technical challenges while creating user-centered, mission-focused software. This role includes mentorship from senior engineers and opportunities for rapid skill growth.
The selected candidate will work on site at our office in Huntsville Alabama or at Redstone Arsenal as necessary.
The person in this role will require creativity and flexibility of patterns while abiding by industry and Department of Defense (DoD) software development policies and regulations, under the guidance of seasoned software developers and engineers. In this role, you must be able to work collaboratively to meet team goals, conceptualize solutions, assist in determining the feasibility of design, and know how to apply new technologies to allow for improvement to existing or development of new critical software applications within our client organization.
- Assist senior developers in developing and maintaining scalable, modular software systems using MOSA-aligned (Modular Open Systems Approach) architecture.
- Support the Team Lead in designing and implementing intuitive front-end user interfaces and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
- Participate in building secure and efficient back-end services and APIs to support front-end functionality.
- Work collaboratively with systems engineers, UX designers, and other developers across the stack.
- Participate in architecture design, code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous integration.
- Ensure applications are robust, maintainable, and aligned with performance and security requirements.
- Contribute to user-centered design processes and promote best practices in software development.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required for team collaboration, customer engagement, or system integration events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Foundational understanding of MOSA principles and modular or component-based architectures.
- Experience developing modern front ends and integrating with complex back-end services.
- Proficient with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience building back-end services using Java, DotNet, C#, C++, Python, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, micro-services architecture, and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of software security principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a US Government Secret security clearance.
