Job summary

Saalex, located in Patuxent River, MD, is seeking a Junior Software Developer to support mission-critical DoD programs. The ideal candidate will need a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and experience in C#, combined with hands-on Agile development experience, to help design and maintain secure software solutions.

This position offers a salary range of $75k-$85k annually, and provides a variety of benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience developing in C#.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or similar).
• 1-3 years of relevant professional or internship experience in software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern programming practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in Agile development processes.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements gathering.
• Support system enhancements with new features.
• Contribute to software testing efforts.
