COLSA Corporation seeks a Junior Software Analyst to support software analysis, documentation, and workflow automation for MSIC. This entry‑level role focuses on technical documentation and workflow development using HighGear, with growth into software analysis and development over time.

On-site work at MSIC is required. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn, with strong problem-solving skills and initiative.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Willingness and ability to learn HighGear workflow development, including process and form creation.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and software applications.
• Working knowledge of web application development and APIs.
• Proficiency with common desktop applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Current, active DoD Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for access to SCI.
• Successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination within 180 days of hire.
• CompTIA Security+ certification (preferred).
• Experience with HighGear or similar workflow automation platforms (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical and project documentation, including meeting notes, SOPs, system/user guides, requirements documentation, workflow diagrams, and project status updates.
• Assist with workflow development using the HighGear platform.
• Gather and document user information and requirements to support software specifications.
• Assist in preparing software specifications and conducting routine analysis of software designs.
• Support software testing, including test planning and execution, analysis of test results, and identification of issues.
• Assist with requirements tracking, data validation, user feedback collection, and coordination of project action items.
• Assist in creating charts and graphs to support data analysis.
