Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Junior Technology Project Manager to lead Snowflake migration projects within Investment Banking Technology.

You will plan, execute, and coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, deliver milestones, and maintain comprehensive project documentation in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, PMP certification, and experience with cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake, along with strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Certifications: PMP certified.
• Experience or coursework in project management or technology coordination.
• Understanding of cloud data platforms and migration processes (Datawarehouse and/or datalake experience preferred).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Awareness of investment banking technology and data solutions advantageous (DCM, ECM, M&A/Advisory or Corporate Finance).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Snowflake migration projects
• Resolve project issues, assess risks, manage resources and actions
• Manage milestones and provide regular status updates
• Maintain project documentation, schedules and notes
• Coordinate with technical and business teams and stakeholders
• Contribute to post-migration reviews and continuous improvement

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field

PMP certified

Project management or technology coordination coursework/experience

Cloud data platforms/migration understanding

Excellent communication skills

Team collaboration in fast-paced environments
