Job summary

Mizuho is seeking a motivated Junior Technology Project Manager to join the Investment Banking Technology team in New York. You will plan and execute Snowflake migration projects, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and monitor milestones.

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and PMP certification are required. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Certifications: PMP certified
• Experience or coursework in project management or technology coordination
• Understanding of cloud data platforms and migration processes (Datawarehouse and/or datalake experience preferred)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Awareness of investment banking technology and data solutions would be an advantage, specifically DCM, ECM, M&A/Advisory or Corporate Finance business lines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Snowflake migration projects
• Resolve project issues, assess risks and impacts, manage resources and actions
• Manage project milestones and deliverables, provide status updates
• Maintain project documentation, schedules and meeting notes
• Coordinate with technical and business teams and stakeholders for alignment
• Contribute to post-migration reviews and continuous improvement efforts
