Job summary

ProBridge, a Trellance subsidiary, seeks a Junior Snowflake DBA to support enterprise Snowflake environments, focusing on administration, performance, security and monitoring. The role collaborates with data engineering, BI and cloud teams to maintain a reliable, cost-efficient platform.

Candidates have 2-3 years of related experience, strong SQL, RBAC, and experience with Snowflake features such as Time Travel, cloning, and stages. Hybrid work in San Antonio or Tysons is offered.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of database/cloud data platform or data engineering experience with Snowflake exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering/Data or related discipline.
• SnowPro Core certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support administration of Snowflake development, test, and production environments.
• Create and maintain users, roles, warehouses, databases, schemas, and access privileges.
• Implement RBAC and least-privilege security practices.
• Monitor warehouse utilization, query performance, storage, concurrency, and platform health.
• Assist with query tuning, performance troubleshooting, and sizing recommendations.
• Monitor Snowflake credits consumption and cost-optimization efforts.
• Support data loading, unloading, stages, file formats, Snowpipe, tasks, and streams.
• Assist with cloning, Time Travel, Fail-safe and environment refreshes.
• Collaborate with ETL/ELT, BI, cloud storage, and data engineering platforms.
