Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking an Associate level Service Technician to perform basic repairs, calibration, and preventive maintenance on equipment. You will assist other technicians in diagnosis and repairs while learning troubleshooting and equipment maintenance in a collaborative setting.

The role involves field and shop tasks, loading/unloading equipment, keeping a clean work area, and supporting parts processes as needed. A valid license and ability to lift up to 35 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license must be maintained.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple repairs and preventive maintenance under supervision.
• Clean machines in preparation to be moved into the shop for estimation or repairs.
• Support other technicians in inspection and diagnosis of equipment issues.
• Loading and unloading equipment and maintaining an organized yard area.
• May also be responsible for maintaining and organizing parts and materials processes.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Assist with repairs equipment to learn safe work habits and gain knowledge of machine repair, calibration, and adjustments.
