Job summary

Parkway Ford in Pampa, Texas is seeking a dependable Junior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Trainee to join our service team. No automotive experience required; candidates with customer service, retail or hospitality backgrounds are welcome and will be trained.

You will learn repair-order preparation, customer updates, maintenance recommendations, and service coordination while reporting to the Service Director and working alongside experienced advisors.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service not required; customer-service background welcomed.
• Must be able to collect accurate contact and vehicle information.
• Willingness to learn repair-order preparation and service coordination.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect contact/vehicle information.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, route questions to teammates.
• Assist with vehicle check-in, mileage recording, key control, and vehicle-location tracking.
• Send approved updates through Tekion under advisor supervision.
• Follow up on estimates, authorizations, parts status, and completion times.
• Explain routine maintenance and inspection findings using approved menus and job aids.

About The Opportunity

Interested in building a career in automotive service? Parkway is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Junior Service Advisor who is ready to learn.

Automotive dealership experience is not required. We welcome candidates with experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, appointment scheduling, or other roles that require organization and communication.

You will support our service team while learning repair-order preparation, customer updates, maintenance recommendations, and service coordination. This position reports to the Service Director and works alongside experienced advisors.
