Job summary

YES Prep in Houston, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Teacher for a 10-month position starting 26-27 School Year. You will design rigorous lessons, monitor growth, and collaborate with a team to prepare students for college success.

You will communicate with families, provide regular feedback, and grow professionally within a mission-driven culture that values equity and student outcomes. Tech fluency and Texas certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Texas Educator Certification or ACP pathway.
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology.
• Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop rigorous lessons in your content area for a 1:1 blended learning environment.
• Set ambitious goals with students and monitor progress with feedback.
• Track student growth and create growth plans with coaches as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents via phone, video, email, or district site.
• Collaborate with co-planner on daily lesson plans and resources.
• Meet deadlines for lesson plans, grades and samples.
