Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Engineering, Plumbing Engineering degree or a minimum of 2 years of industry experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field accepted with commensurate experience.
• Experience in design and planning of MEP systems.
• Ability to perform load calculations for power, data, conduit fill ratios and/or HVAC systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation, writing, verbal, and written customer communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe; knowledge of Project/Visio/BlueBeam/AutoCAD/Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural, electrical, telecommunication, and security floor plans and device schedules.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and conversions.
• Review Field Site Survey documentation and provide technical assistance with RFI/RFP responses.
• Create solution design documentation, including drawings, BOMs, permitting packages and summaries.
• Learn and maintain familiarity with current and emerging electronic security technologies (ACS, IDS, CCTV, biometrics).
• On-the-job training will be provided to increase skills with field work and integration teams.
