Job summary

The role supports molecular, cellular, and tissue biology activities, including iPSC culture, cell line editing, histology, and animal husbandry. The position requires strong molecular biology and cell culture skills, good communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in bioengineering, stem cell or molecular biology, immunology, or related field, or ≥4 years research experience.
• Strong molecular biology skills.
• Cell culture expertise.
• Primary cell culture experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Analytical and judgment skills to develop recommendations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in induced pluripotent stem cell culture, cell line editing, histology, and animal husbandry.
• Independently perform complex biological analyses using new and established approaches.
• Support development of new protocols and spatial transcriptomic/proteomic analyses.
• Contribute to an independent project while collaborating in a team-based environment.
• Handle animals, maintain records, manage data, and communicate with lab and LARC staff.
• Perform molecular analyses of genotype and interpret data.
