Job summary

Jobless is seeking a Junior Scheduler to support planning, updates, and reporting for commercial construction projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and teams to build schedules and monitor progress.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while traveling to sites up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent field experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting project scheduling, construction coordination, project controls, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with healthcare, K-12, and Higher Education construction projects highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with scheduling concepts, project timelines, and construction processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and general technology platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Corporate Scheduler with the development, maintenance, and updating of project schedules for commercial construction projects.
  • Support Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and project leadership with schedule coordination and reporting.
  • Participate in project planning meetings to gather information related to sequencing, durations, milestones, and project timelines.
  • Assist with reviewing schedule updates and tracking project progress against established milestones.
  • Help identify potential schedule risks, delays, and areas requiring additional attention.
  • Support the preparation of schedule reports, graphics, and narratives to communicate project status and potential impacts.
  • Assist with maintaining project documentation related to schedules, updates, and project controls.
  • Support preconstruction planning, procurement activities, construction sequencing, startup, testing, and commissioning efforts.
  • Assist with monitoring subcontractor schedules and coordination efforts.
  • Provide support in analyzing schedule variances and assisting with recovery planning when needed.
  • Develop an understanding of CPM scheduling principles, scheduling methodologies, and construction project execution.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The Junior Scheduler is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and maintenance of schedules for commercial construction projects. This role will assist our Corporate Scheduler and work closely with our Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and project teams to assist with schedule development, updates, reporting, and project controls. The Junior Scheduler will help monitor project progress, identify potential scheduling risks, and support the successful execution of project milestones. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills while collaborating with internal teams, clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors. The Junior Scheduler will assist in maintaining accurate project schedules and promoting the company’s vision, mission, and core values. Travel requirements are approximately 20% and may include visits to project sites and CPPI satellite offices.
