Job summary

GxP Associates in Florida is seeking a motivated SCADA Engineer with 0–3 years of experience to join our engineering team and contribute to GMP/GxP compliant automation projects. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to SCADA, PLC, HMI, industrial automation, and process control systems.

The SCADA Engineer will support configuration, testing, and maintenance of automation systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Controls Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in SCADA, automation, controls, instrumentation, manufacturing systems, or process engineering.
• Recent graduates with internship, co-op, academic project, or hands-on automation experience encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of SCADA, PLC, HMI, and industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SCADA systems.
• Assist with SCADA and HMI development, configuration, graphics, alarms, and system modifications.
• Support integration between SCADA systems, PLCs, HMIs, equipment, and process historians.
• Assist with troubleshooting communication issues between PLCs, SCADA applications, and connected equipment.
• Assist with system testing, commissioning, startup, and operational support.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and qualification activities.
