Job summary

WOONGJIN INC. in Plano, TX seeks a SAP FI consultant to tailor SAP FI deployments for Samsung Electronics USA across sites. You will lead end-to-end FI workstreams, train users, and document processes.

This role requires 1–3 years of SAP FI experience, ECC 6 exposure, and strong client communication. Responsibilities include planning, data conversion support, on-call issue resolution, and collaboration with HQ for optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science / related discipline with an information technology focus.
• 1–3 years of experience as a functional or business consultant with SAP applications.
• Experience within SAP FI in an ECC 6 environment.
• Full lifecycle SAP implementation with expertise in FI.
• Concur experience preferred.
• Experienced in processing a variety of EDI document types and familiarity.
• In-depth technical knowledge working with EDI related systems and architecture.
• Project management experience that involves conceptualizing, organizing, planning, executing test, training users and documenting training materials.
• Understanding of system development life cycle and IT practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with customers and teams.
• Willingness to challenge established practices and take calculated risks.
• Ability to prioritise customer needs and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and tailor the use of the system to meet those objectives.
• Develop project plans and timelines to successfully deploy solutions and assist with data conversion.
• Full support of users within all relevant sites of Samsung Electronics USA; provide training and documentation for SAP FI.
• Responsible for support and communication with HQ for implementation management and optimization of SAP FI processes.
• Formulate process improvements to minimize recurring issues.
• Provide strategic guidance to users and document business processes; propose system improvements.
• Monitor and report on issue status and performance against standards; provide reports.
• Serve as primary on-call support for troubleshooting SAP system issues.
