Job summary

Precision Walls, Inc. is seeking a Junior Drywall Sales/Estimator in Wilmington, NC. The role focuses on learning and applying estimating techniques, reading blueprints, and presenting feasibility studies to clients.

The candidate will develop sales presentations, build relationships with customers, and support project teams from pre-bid through execution, contributing to recurring business and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively as part of a team and understand sales and negotiating techniques.
• Develop and deliver presentations.
• Develop and present building estimates and feasibility studies.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and/or technical manuals.
• Maintain technical knowledge of building components and their function.
• Knowledge of building components life cycle values and maintenance requirements.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and/or supervision to architects, structural engineers, and independent building contractors.
• Knowledge of the operating practices of construction, architectural, and building firms.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local building codes, ordinances, and regulations.
• Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
• Ability to make complex operating, administrative, and procedural decisions.
• Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations.
• Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Commercial Drywall Construction background.

• Ability to form strong relationships with customers to create repeat business.
