Lockheed Martin in Lexington, KY is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I to support the SOF GLSS team. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on rotary-wing aircraft to ensure flight safety and mission readiness, including H-6, H-60, and H-47 platforms.

The role requires reading manuals, documenting work, teamwork in fast-paced environments, ability to travel as needed, and eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, technical orders, and service bulletins.
• Ability to accurately document maintenance activities and records.
• Experience working in fast-paced team environments and independently.
• Must be eligible for security clearance and able to travel as required by mission needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on H-6, H-60 and H-47 aircraft.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and engineering drawings to guide work.
• Conduct preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight inspections for safety and readiness.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced team to meet schedule-sensitive operational goals.
