Job summary

Automation Intelligence, a Peak Technologies company, seeks a Junior Robot Programmer to support development, programming, and troubleshooting of robotic systems in automated manufacturing environments.

You will work under senior engineers to create, test, and modify robot paths and logic, perform on-site programming, and learn hands-on programming practices while reading mechanical and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

Technical certificate, associate degree, or coursework in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field preferred.
Equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
Basic understanding of industrial robots, preferably Fanuc, ABB, or similar platforms.
Exposure to robot programming and troubleshooting methods.
Willingness to travel and work shifts as required to support on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and modification of robot programs using teach pendants and offline programming tools.
Support the setup, testing, and commissioning of robotic systems in production and customer environments.
Perform basic troubleshooting of robotic programs and hardware issues.
Work with team members to implement process changes, cycle time improvements, and program refinements.
Support integration of robotic systems with peripheral devices such as vision systems, end-of-arm tooling, conveyors, and sensors.
Follow established programming standards and customer specifications.
Document programming changes and system configurations as directed.
Participate in reviews, training sessions, and team meetings to build skills and knowledge.
Support site work including travel and shift assignments as needed.
Perform other related tasks within skill level as assigned by senior staff or project leads.
