Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks a Robot Systems Programmer to join our automation and robotic systems design team. You will provide programming support on FANUC and ABB robots for turnkey systems, ensuring adherence to customer standards and programming structures.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in industrial robot programming, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel up to 20% for service, installation, startup and debug. Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and Word is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have FANUC and or ABB Robot programming experience.
• Must have knowledge of automated systems and basic theory of robotic control and integration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and interface with machine controls.

About The Job

You're a perfect candidate if you want to be a part of an ever expanding automation industry and robotic systems design team. We are currently seeking a Robot Systems Programmer to become an integral part of our team! You will perform programming support on FANUC & ABB robots for new turnkey systems.

We specialize in providing custom engineered robotic solutions. We provide turn-key automation equipment with a strong emphasis on robotics.

To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of two years of experience in programming industrial robots and possess a high level of detail when following customer standards and programming structure.

In addition to the required robotics skills, the ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and must be able to interpret drawings and schematics. This position will include travel for service, installation, start-up and debug.

Requirements

• Must have FANUC and or ABB Robot programming experience.
• Must have a working knowledge of automated systems, a good understanding of the basic theory of robotic control and integration related to function, programming, training, and safety.
• Ability to troubleshoot and interface with program machine controls
• Strong project management skills - able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Provide field support to customers and travel when required (up to 20%).
