Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Roadway Design Engineer to join the Murray, Utah team on-site. This role focuses on developing foundational design and analytic skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.

You will participate in preparing designs, calculations, sketches, and working drawings, while collecting and analyzing data and using standard software tools. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, with familiarity in Bentley ORD or MicroStation preferred.

• Familiarity with Bentley ORD and/or MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Builds analytic and design skills.
• Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.
• Collects and analyzes data under supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
