Job summary

InDyne is seeking a Range Safety role supporting the Atlantic Test Range in Patuxent River, MD. You will apply ORM principles to minimize residual risk to personnel and assets, and you will support test planning, hazard analyses, documentation, and real-time operations.

The ideal candidate holds a BS degree in engineering or related fields, demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills, and can obtain and maintain the required DoD security clearance. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in engineering or related discipline (ABET-accredited or equivalent).
• Self-starter, flexible and team-oriented to work smoothly with technical peers.
• Must be computer literate and possess strong analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses, hazard mitigations, and reviews of test plans per NAVAIR safety instructions.
• Identify potential range hazards and obtain Range Safety approval prior to testing.
• Provide analytical support to improve reliability of flight and range safety systems.
