Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Junior Rail Systems Engineer - Signals and Train Control in Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will join the Transit group and contribute to signals and train control design, testing, and commissioning on North American transportation projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 0–2 years of experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills. EIT certification is a plus, and relocation is not specified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with software development, electronics, machinery, or multi-discipline integration.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Work with rail systems design professionals on North American projects.
• Participate in signals and train control design, testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with team members locally and globally to meet project objectives.
