Old Mission Capital in Chicago is seeking a Junior Quantitative Trader (Asian market hours) to join our trading team. You will work with researchers and traders to identify opportunities, implement data-driven strategies, and support execution with robust risk controls.

The ideal candidate holds a quantitative degree, has 2+ years in trading, and is proficient in Python or C++ among other languages. This role offers a dynamic, hands-on path at a growth-focused firm.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS, engineering, or hard sciences.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, VBA, R, Matlab or Ruby.
• 2+ years of trading experience.
• Experience with automated trading systems.
• Strong ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage trading activity Sunday-Thursday 4:00 pm - 3:00 am CST.
• Oversee and manage trade execution and risk of complex portfolios.
• Implement trading strategies leveraging technology to minimize costs.
• Research potential trading opportunities.
