Qualifications

• 2–4 years development experience with exposure to backend services, platform engineering, or data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for building services and working with data.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred), including containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with API design and building clear, well-structured endpoints.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and telemetry patterns.
• Experience with collaborative git workflows (branching, pull requests, code review).
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to product and non-technical collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core backend services and APIs that power product features.
• Develop shared platform components used across frontend and backend applications.
• Build and improve data pipelines and integrations across the platform.
• Contribute to developer tooling, CI/CD, and automated testing that keeps services reliable.
• Partner with product and design to turn requirements into clear technical designs; support gradual rollouts and feature flags to ship changes safely.
• Instrument services with logging, metrics, and telemetry for reliability.
• Document platform capabilities and APIs so teams can build with confidence.
