Job summary

Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst GmbH & Co. KG seeks a Junior Quality Engineer to support inspections, data analysis, and nonconforming-condition responses on US production lines.

You will read blueprints and specifications to determine quality requirements and help ensure products meet defined standards. Key responsibilities include performing control-plan based inspections, documenting results, training associates, and contributing to continuous improvement through data analysis and quality alerts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two-year degree preferred.
• Strong math and reading skills are essential.
• Excellent attendance and reliable work habits are expected.
• Ability to work independently and make consistent decisions.
• Prior paint viewing experience is preferred.
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience with 8D and 5 Whys problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, basic data analysis, documentation, and response to nonconforming conditions.
• Read control plans, blueprints, and product specifications to determine quality requirements.
• Maintain understanding of all quality requirements and ensure product quality.
• Follow appearance guidelines for painted parts and base decisions on these guidelines.
• Communicate customer and internal concerns and issue quality alerts with the team.
• Support safe launch activities including inspections, tests, and data analysis to detect defects and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Perform visual inspection of painted product to identify cosmetic defects and color matching.
• Assist in training metrics and maintain training records for associates.
• Monitor assembly and paint lines and coach associates on viewing and training.
• Analyze quality data and contribute to continuous improvement of overall product quality.

Junior Quality Engineer

Your Role

• Perform inspections, basic data analysis, documentation, and response to nonconforming conditions

• Full understanding of work instructions related to appearance guidelines for painted parts to make decisions based on the guidelines

Your Skills
